Building Better Homes Since 2005

We can handle all of your Home Renovation Needs

Existing Home Remodel

This home remodel included the installation of new Hardwood Flooring, Windows, Window Trim, a full Kitchen remodel and a complete repainting of the entire home - inside and out! Our clients successfully sold this Beautiful Santa Barbara Home earlier this year.

When this property located near Downtown Santa Barbara needed to be sold, our clients asked us to make everything as good as new and we proudly delivered.

New Addition

For this three-story addition to our client’s home, we managed practically everything. From first digging into and compacting the soil, then forming the foundation and concrete slabs, and all the way through to Framing the home itself & installing Insulation, Siding, Windows and Doors.

Our core team of employees worked together with our (and our clients’) most trusted sub-contractors to build this stunning new addition in the San Roque area.

Deck Replacement

This Brand new deck was constructed to not only replace the existing Termite-Infested beams, but to re-enforce the entire home as well. We took special care to place thicker 18-24 foot beams running through the interior ceiling and sealed them with thick layers of waterproofing, seamless stucco patches and Quality Paint and Primer.

Designed with engineer consultation and the homeowners, these gorgeous decks overlooking the Santa Barbara Bowl are now perfectly fit for generations of family gatherings to come.

Condo Renovation

This Full Remodel, on a much smaller scale, was Sold to a Satisfied Buyer shortly after Renovations were finished. Tile, Carpet, and Wood Flooring; new Walls, Bedroom Partitions, and Windows; New Paint & Appliances; Installing Bathrooms, Kitchens and Chimneys. We do it all.

This Two story Condo, just off of Las Positas, was transformed with a few simple ceiling design modifications to make the newly remodeled Dining, Kitchen and Living Spaces feel huge.

Landscape, Hardscape & Masonry

New plant-life and rock formations can be a great way to add to or change the look of a home. In this case, the added trees will offer some privacy and normalize the elevation of the new addition; As time passes us by, the beauty of this home will grow with the trees.

This home was hit by the disastrous mudslide and flood that hit Montecito Residents back in 2018.

We’ve worked diligently with our clients to bring their home’s shine back ever since (more below).

Helping You Move Forward

Be it a simple question or a serious emergency, our clients can always count on us.

Disaster struck just two days before renters were scheduled to move into this newly expanded home. While the upper floor came out relatively unscathed, the new addition was wrecked completely. After emergency cleanup was completed, there were still uncertainties involving new regulations, insurance companies, and safety that made it difficult for the Harms’ to imagine Rebuilding.

In time, we were given the opportunity to pick up the pieces and build a completely redesigned addition from the ground up. Addressing safety concerns and regulations, the new design features shear walls and break-away sections which hold the home up nearly six feet off the ground!

A Better Home

Many months have since passed and with the Harms’ cooperation, we cleaned up and repaired the damage, built a safer foundation for the replacement addition, constructed a beautiful brand new deck, and added a great deal of natural light through large glass doors, windows and skylights.

No one can predict or fully prevent catastrophe, but when the time comes to rebuild, replace, remodel, or expand; you can count on JP Builders to work with you to build a better home.
